How To Improve Your Adsense Quality Score [ Easy steps ]

If your a domain parker you would have heard and have knowledge of the Yahoo Traffic Quality score. If you park with parked.com or any of the other networks that use the Yahoo feed then you would know how important this is and it determines how much you will earn per click and even if your account will stay open.

What a lotg of people DO NOT know is that Google also have a traffic quality score in place for adsence. AQS ( Adsense quality score ), this is the name given too their quality score programme. If your account has a low AQS it will be “smartpriced” meaning Google and its advertisers will pay less for the clicks that you generate on your site.

Now of course we all want too get the best out of our website. So lets see how we can make more per click and stop our sites from getting smartpriced.

Here are 3 of Googles Universal Rules:

If a page has certain qualities, it will rank higher on Google

If a page has certain qualities, it will get a higher quality score in Adwords

If a page has certain qualities, it will display Adsense ads that pay you more.

1. Try adding quality links to your pages

2. Add related keywords to your main term: If you have a page about “mortgage” you may consider including some keywords like “house”, “home mortgage” etc…

3. Use Terms of service and privacy policy links on your page. Google loves when a site has these pages in place correctly.

4.Try to make your site more interactive so that visitors will stay on it longer. Google thinks that, if someone spends more time on your site, it must be high quality. Adding comment forms, special reports, videos etc can make your visitors stay more on your site.

5.Tell your visitors to bookmark your site (Google considers this a good sign of high quality as well)

Google Adwords to test “flat rate advertising” for local businesses

adsense_logoIt has been reveled that Google Adwords in testing a simple flat rate option for local businesses. This will make it a lot easier for people who are new to onlin e advertising and marketing to promote their websites and products.

The idea of this is that Local Businesses will pay a flat monthly fee for their ads instead of having to deal with the keyword auctions.

Google Adwords is confusing and tough to use if you are new to online marketing and if you have not used it before. This puts many companies and indivituals away from using it.

This is what Google had to say:

“When we talk to small businesses, they don’t always want to know what an auction is, how to create an ad, or bid on keywords, it’s complicated, so our goal has been to, ‘How can we make this really simple for them where they just pay a flat fee per month’”.

Yahoo upgrade their search ads

yahoo_logo_ie_071609It has been said today in various blogs and papers including the New York Times that Yahoo will start adding video and images into their paid search advertisments. It is a blod move by Yahoo whos`s primary source of ad revenue was display ads. The market shift has seen Yahoos display ad revenue drop on the last quarter of 2008 by 2 percent while searches have increased by 11 percent. It is easy to see that Yahoo are trying to regain a lot of the ad share from Google but as Monty from monty mega markting says ¨will they be successful at it?¨

“Video is always more powerful than just words on the page,” said John Anton, the marketing director at Pedigree. “It’s definitely compelling to us to have options like this, where, when you type in ‘Pedigree,’ you get more than just the words, you get the video itself.”

Yahoo currently run this feature but for a monthly fee. They allow companies who have video ready for example Pepsi or home Depot. They have seens Click throughs up by 25 percent.

Carol Bartz, Yahoo’s new CEO, said in a conference call last month that “everything is on the table”.

The Rich Ads in Search program is being shared with a small number of brand advertisers such as Pedigree and Esurance and agencies such as Razorfish. The program lets advertisers:

Post images and video, which can increase the branding impact of search advertising. Pedigree has added video to its campaigns, for instance.
Create deep links to relevant pages, which can help drive conversions directly from the Yahoo! search results page.
Include boxes within the listing that lets users search for their desired product or a store location directly without additional navigation. Esurance’s listing lets users enter their ZIP codes from the results page for insurance quotes.
Show their logo, which enhances user trust.
Rich Ads in Search is currently by invitation only, but we will update you as it opens up to more of our brand advertisers. In the meantime, start thinking of what your search ads could do for you.

New Poll Advertisements

Hey guys today I would like to intrduce to you a new site, which I expect will take off well. The site is VIZU.com. The idea is unique and this may be a good earning opportunity for your blog or website. The site pays you to host polls on your site. Examples below:

You are paid on a CPM rate. You can see my blog on the right side, I have added one of these polls.  As you can see they are nice and can be coded to what evber size suits you, as well as choosing the colours. I think that these are a quite idea and that many visitors to your site will vote, as I know myself I like answering in polls and seeing what results there are.
Most webmasters will be interested in this site, and I would recommend giving it a go. This site operates on CPM basis and hence if you have a good traffic site, then your income will add up nicely. Generally they will give 50 cents per CPM , but you can get more if you have a good traffic site.

The payout is $50. I would’nt say that you will become rich of these but they are another opportunity to earn money., and that s what we like to hear.
