Not Long Now Till Facebook Surpasses Yahoo

We have talked before on how we feel that Facebook and other social sites like Twitter will soon become the way of online search as more and more people look to real time search. But today I have some interesting news.

It seems as though Facebook is not far from taking over the number 2 spot from Yahoo. It has always been a case of google number 1 and Yahoo number 2, well at least for some time now. But as Yahoos traffic starts to dip and Facebook maintain their Strong growth it does not seem too long until Facebook take over the number 2 spot.

Facebook are just 6 million unique visitors behind yahoo, and it looks as though they could do it. What do you think? Should Google get worried?

Yahoo win Yahoo.tel in arbitration

yahoo_logo_ie_071609Yahoo has been rewarded the domain Yahoo.tel by an national arbitration forum. Yahoo were the the first tech company to file for arbitation of a .tel domain when the case was opened back in August.

Why Yahoo didn’t pick up the domain for $300 during the sunrise period I don’t know , but it would have been a lot cheaper than the price of arbitration.

We’ll properbly be seeing more and more cases of this poping up over the coming months.
