Ea – Electronic Arts Buys Playfish For $275 Million Cash and More

playfishlogoEA ( Electronic Arts ) closed its long anticipated acquistion of social gaming platform Playfish for $275 million in cash, $25 million Stock and $100 million in earnouts. Playfish which is based in London Uk has estimated annual revenues of $75 million.

Playfish operates social games on Facebook, Myspace, Hi5 and other social networks. Playfish has been installed more than 150 million times and they claim to have 60 million active users monthly.
