Well like every way to make money online, there is an expense to be made, and domaining is no exception. Below is a list that I have found online about expenses that you must be aware of paying, and also some of my own personal expenses.
1. Domain Registrations. Remember that you must renew your domains every year, and keep a track on how many that you have and the price you have spent on them. I have over 800 domains now, and renewal costs can get expensive.
2. Internet access, of course this is very important. With out this you won’t be able to get online and earn without it. If you work from Internet cafes or Cyber cafes, also remember to add that to the expenditure.
3. Phone – Business/work/mobile – Domain transactions take place mainly through phone calls. As well as buying and selling through phones you may need to call up account managers or companies about accounts etc, so keep this in mind that you will need to pay for phone bills etc
4. Domain Software – If you use software to optimize your domains or to keep them all together, remember that this costs. If you have multiple accounts with the one network, which is against TOS , but if a family member has one and you use the same computer you may use HideMyIp so take all software purchases into account.
5. Domain services – Maybe you have recurring subscriptions to websites such as Domaintools or Domaining forums. Remember to add these onto your expenditure also.
6. Web Hosting is another expense when domain parking. Not all domainers need to pay this but some who develop heir domains prior to parking them, will need to. So make sure to remember this.
7. Advertising – Although it is not aloud, but if you advertised your domains or websites with adwords or YPN or any ad network then this to is another expense.
8. FOOD – Us domainers get hungry when sitting at our computer running our business. So remember to account for the food and drinks that you buy when working
