Skype has planned to buy VoIP start up Gizmo5. But while they decided Google swooped in and sources say purchased Gizmo5 for $30 million in Cash.
Gizmo5 will suit a lot of Google products, especially Google Talk allowing a PSTN link to allow incoming and outbound calls to real phones.
So now you will be able to make and receive calls to your Google Voice phone number from your computer. So this brings Google Voice and Google talk together. Will it rival Skype?
