Alexa.com is a company may via Amazon.com. It is a website which provides information on traffic levels for websites. A lot of people use Alexa to calculate their traffic rank, but I Alexa only records the users who have visited a website with the Alexa toolbar installed, so therefore does not give 100% real results. Although Alexa only records users with Alexa toolbar installed it is still a good program and a high Alexa ranking is good to attract advertisers.
In this article, I will examine the importance of Alexa rank and how it relates to cite monetization. I also include a list of 17 methods and strategies you can use to increase your Alexa rank dramatically in the short and long run.

This will only work for a new website and possibly not for websites with low Alexa rankings.
