Threadless.com is a community orientated t-shirt design website. The site is huge and the benefits for users are substantial. If you like making up slogans or if you are good at using photoshop and can see yourself creating images and designs that you think others would like too and would wear around on their t-shirt then you should definitely check this site out.
The site allows users to sign up for a free account. From here the user can write blogs to the community about him or herself regarding their design s or experience, bio etc. The user can then upload their designs, it is from here that they are then voted on out of 5 by the whole threadless community. You also can score other peoples designs out of 5. Now users and their customers can also rate “I’d buy this” every couple of weeks the threadless staff then choose the highest scored design and print this onto t-shirt in which they then sell from their online store.
What do you get if you are chosen you ask? well this is taking from their website and should explain it too you:
Designers who are printed earn $2,000 and a $500 gift certificate (the $500 gift certificate can be exchanged for an additional $200 cash). You’ll also become a member of the Threadless Alumni Club, which includes a package of goodies and access to a members-only section of the blog forum! Your printed design will also be eligible for up to $20,000 in the annual Bestees Awards.
Not bad ey? Some users have made over $70,000 by submitting their designs. It’s worth a try and over all it’s a bit of fun.
Users are payed via check or paypal, and all members from any country can enter their designs.
