I want to introduce you all to a program called ChaCha. ChaCha is a mobile answers service, similar to Yahoo! Answers, but users text in various questions to ChaCha (242-242) and your job would be to find the answer, and reply back. ChaCha guides work on computers, and your schedule is entirely up to you, you can log in for 5 minutes here and there, or log in and work 8 hours straight if you want. ChaCha was released on November 2006 and had a reported 20,000 guides. guides log on from their homes and answer user queries in real time via an instant-messaging client. They’re paid up to $10 an hour, depending on how users rank the quality of their efforts. If a user is unhappy with their guide they can leave him or her a bad rating and switch to a new one. So make sure that you search correctly and give a good answer. Now how does all this work? Let me show you below:
In the picture above you can clearly see what the ChaCha search engine looks like. You have the option to search normally like on Google or Yahoo, or you have the option to search with a guide ( This is what you will be) When you search with a guide the search engine will look something like this:
As you can see the search engine has a lot of features when searching with a guide. Great if you ask me. On the left hand side you can see a chat messaging panel this is where you can interact with the guide. Above in the search bar you search for what you want to find. In the image above the search is “2000 market crash”
Instead of getting all the unnecessary information that some search engines give, your ChaCha guide will simple find and display to you in a matter of seconds the relevant info to your search. This means less time looking for what you need and more time learning and finding the sites that you want.
