Sony today won the domain Walkman.net
Sony Corporation has been awarded the domain name Walkman.net in a domain arbitration at World Intellectual Property Organization. The walkman which was invented way back in the 70′s became a big hit and the term “walkman” became a generic term for all portable music devices.
Sony won the walkman.com domain in 2000 and have yet to put a website on it, so don’t think they will make a website on this domain. It still remains unknown as to what they will do with this domain.
