Twitter Is Top Word Of 2009

In Global Language Monitor’s annual global survey of the English language, top words were sourced out from throughout the whole English speaking world.

There are 1.58 billion English speakers in the world and to be a top word is really something and that word is “Twitter” quite surprising after the out break of Swine flu and Obama becoming president.

Here are the top 5 words of 2009:
