Twitter has began rolling out its new “lists” feature which they announced that they were working on over one month ago. Twitter began with a beta mode but has now began adding it to all twitter profiles.
According to an employee within Twitter 25% of all users have lists and more and more are being added daily. So hopefully this will be complete by today or tomorrow.
Twitter lists allow you to create groups of people that you follow on Twitter. Why is this good? Well lets say you have 10 family members that you follow you can add them a group and see all their updates in one place without them gettin mixed in with friends of work colliques.
You ca also create groups for a handfull of people that deliver good quality tweets, so that you can take them out of the rest of your stream and keep up to date on their tweets. You can also create lists by topic, people, keyword. It’s a great little feature.
What do you think about the feature?
Have you got it yet?
