Well a few people have been emailing me asking what sites are good to find out how much their site is worth. Everyone including myself loves to be able to put a dollar sign to their site. Now I will warn you that a lot of these sites fluctuate a lot and well frankly aren’t correct at all, but they give some good information on your site I guess.
Personally I feel that a website is worth what the buyer is willing to pay. But the sites below you can use to compare to eachother and take an average.
1) Estibot.com – This seems to be the first website many come to for their appraisal needs of domain name , What I like about this website is that it also appraises the amount of traffic your website brings in.
2) DnScoop - This is another good appraisal site , the only difference between this site and the first I listed is that depending on the amount of traffic you bring , it gives you suggestions as to how much you could be charging to put an advertisement on your website on a monthly basis.
3) CubeStats - This is a Great site I found , it shows you a lot of detail in a neatly oriented fashion for info such as which pages on your site get indexed , it also shows you daily page views and ad revenue ( from google adsense I believe)
4) Smarter Pagerank – I like this site as it also has a few SEO tools to help you boost your pagerank as well as explain how it is broken down, asides from this factor it seems to show you similar results that DnScoop shows you only using different variables in it’s formula.
5)websiteoutlook – Websiteoutlook is the perfect place to evaluate any website. When choosing to buy or sell a website having the proper information about your investment can be crucial to your success. Websiteoutlook is dedicated to finding all pertinent information that may pertain to your personal interest. And it’s FREE!
