Today Yahoo the #2 search engine has announced that it will be teaming up with Facebook connect. Facebook now with over 350 million users worldwide will be getting their Facebook connect added to Yahoo properties that in aggregate represent tens of millions of users.
Yahoo is the #2 most visited site in the world and this will help Facebook a lot and Yahoo. Yahoo say that they will be integrating Facebook connect on their mail, sports, news, and finance sites. This will allow users to leave comments , share news stories, and view friends feeds by using their Facebook account on Yahoo.
Yahoo will benefit from extra traffic from Facebook like so many smaller sites have done for previous years. The new Features are set to role out next year.
